Join the Forest Preserves of Winnebago County and Natural Land Institute for a guided hike of Kishwaukee Gorge North Forest Preserve! The group will explore diverse woodland and restored prairie habitats as NLI Executive Director Alan Branhagen points out unique oak species, late summer fruits like summer grapes and wild fragrant sumac, and whatever else is seen along the way.

Participants should plan to walk approximately 3 miles on mostly flat terrain (mowed trail). Close-toed shoes and bug spray are recommended.
